pseudo-single-plane theory
just look at bryson and norman, their setting 'seems' to take a one-plane up (straight take = ST), yet they both respect and accept the maxim of duo-plane. take bryson as an example, his take-up trace is a bit outer than his projected down swing path. therefore, as a matter of fact, he does still benefit from a two-plane machenism, right?
but why a seemingly single-plane setting? i see 2 merits: one is for a larger space of 'range of motion', where both arms and hands won't be stuck behind by unconditional retarded torso movement. the other is that an ST simply won't need back coiling of pelvic and shoulders, plus centrifugal force, by which the leading arm and club are pulled straightened. in other word, one can mostly keep his clubface square regardless of a sometime bad torso turn.

why can torq be generated? levering, of course. but how do leverings work to generate torq power? just exert force tangently to boost up its circling tendency, where there are merely two ways: one to sprint, the other to stir. i've got sensible reconciliation inbetween that i cannot incruit them simultaneously, ignite the ideal double spitfire. no, i'm so sorry to confess that i can't. ideal is ideal, yet reality is fkn cruel...
