紐約比加州快三個小時，但這並不代表加州比較「慢」。

New York is three hours ahead of California, but that does not make California slow.

 

有些人 22 歲就大學畢業了，但卻花了五年才找到一份穩定的工作，

Someone graduated from college at 22 but waited five years before securing a job.

 

有些人可能 25 歲就成為 CEO，但卻在 50 歲死去，

Someone became a CEO at 25 but died at 50.

 

有些人可能在 50 歲才當上 CEO，卻活到 90 歲，

Someone became a CEO at 50 but lived to 90 years.

 

當有些人已經結了婚還有小孩，其他人可能還單身，

Someone is still single, while another is married with children.

 

原來，每個人都活在自己的時區裡。

Absolutely, everyone in this world works based on their own time zone.

 

你身邊的人可能看似領先你，但這也沒關係，看來有些人同時也落後你。

People around you might seem to be ahead of you. That’s total fine. Some are behind you.

 

每個人都在自己的時區裡，用自己的速度奔跑，

Everyone is running their own race in their own time zone.

 

不用羨慕或是模仿他們，

Don’t envy or mock them.

 

他們在他們的時區，你在你自己的時區，

They are in their own time zone and you are in yours.

 

人生需要等待對的時間點，

Life is about waiting for the right moment to react.

 

而每個人在人生這張試卷裡，都有著不一樣的問題等待回答。

Everyone have a different exams paper meaning different questions.
