we often heard of ben's greatest five lessons in golf, in which the down swing could be considered one of the most influential inspirations to golf efficient swing ever heard, from which the modern swing theories thus were dirived. however, to a right-handed player, what is the key to achieve ben's down swing, say, let the lower body lead the way and the right elbow is even late dragged in front of the waist? that'll remain a misty mistique if you don't get the followings:
1. when addressing, don't waggle 'over' the ball, but 'beside' it near your feet, in this stance you want to fix the foot and arm positions, so as to say, your arms fall naturally downward and can hinge freely.
2. from the above foot-arms position, bend your waist, straighten your back, and have your club head move right behind the ball. therefore there would be fairly some space spared in between both of your arms and torso, through which you can let your right elbow release freely when down swing, without hinderance and damping.
3. with securing the above two steps, then imagine only to have your right elbow back into your waist pit when down swing, keep both hands in the right groove, and stay your head still.
after doing all those three steps, all the rest you can do is simply gloat the whitie flier swishing through the clear sky...
