166. 部分否定：當 not 與 every, each, always, all, both 等詞並用時，僅表否定之部分。
Not all people are born to race. = All people are not born to race. (人非生而能飆車。)
然若須全稱，僅用 not 即可。
People err. (凡是人皆會犯錯。)
Martians are not friendly. (火星人皆不友善。)
167. 疑問代詞造句：凡以 What, Where, Why, When, Who, Which, Whose, How (文法上稱 ‘8-W’ 或 ‘Wh-句形’) 等疑問副詞為首之句子之句形結構，以問句為主，詳 158 條。
How can you go to Australia? (你要怎麼去澳洲啊？) I’ll go there by plane, of course. (當然是坐飛機去囉。)
Why can unintended acceleration happen? (為甚麼會暴衝？) It is mainly because of the false clutch-up in the gearbox. (多半是因為不當的排檔動作所導致。)
What is a side skirt spoiler for? (側裙擾流裝置是作甚麼用的？) You are a racing motorist and you tell me. (你是賽車手，那你說咧？)
168. 行為頻率的表達：表達某一行為之行為頻率，可用 行為 + 次數 + 該行為時間範圍 之結構表達。問句多以 How often? 表示。
How often do you go to a movie with your girlfriend? (你多久帶你女朋友看一次電影？)
I usually go to a movie with my girl twice a month. (大概每個月看二次電影吧。)
