A quick look at current Masters ticket prices
Mar 29, 2018 By Ben Alberstadt
There's no need to rehash the particulars annually of why Masters single-round tickets and four-round tournament badges are resold for well above their $115 and $375 face values, respectively. (Small number of badge holders, tiny lottery for tickets, and scalpers, baby!)
But it's always interesting to see just how much cash you'd have to part with to walk Augusta National's hallowed grounds.
In that spirit, here’s a look at some Masters ticket and badge prices as of 6 p.m. ET, March 29, on StubHub.
Monday practice round: from $470
Tuesday practice round: from $614
Wednesday practice round: from $740
Thursday competition: from $1,639
Friday competition: from $1,575
Saturday competition: from $1,456
Sunday competition: from $1,547
Thursday-Sunday competition badge: from $6,400
Thursday-Friday competition badge: from $3,224
Saturday-Sunday competition badge: from $3,485
Weekly badge: from $9,250
Of course, as you may have heard, Augusta National is cracking down on third-party resellers this year. Horror stories are filtering into the golf mediasphere about tickets that have been invalidated. So, buyer beware.
