謝謝布拉布斯,上個月底有幸造訪幸福球場;擊畢、吉斃、及弊、即避,故有此書。因為幸福不幸,故能信服不行:
To play plain is not the normal case when you stand on the fairway preparing for your next shot, rather than to paly rolling. A ball lie on a rolling curve even in a divot is commonly seen. Pick it up and choose for a better lie? That's not golf. Face it boldly to hit it as you usually did at the practicing range. You'll soon eat your humble pie. Instead, we should play smartly, on the basis of a decent typical full swing. The following are the swing techniques on abnormal lies. They are simple and easy to reason if you do understand the theory of the full swing:
1. Approaching and chipping shots: Featured and talormade for each person respectively, so you need to check your chipping carries of your own, basically with a 56eror 60er in the range within 100 yards.
2. Green bunker shots: Open stance, open club head (Why? The carry is too short even for a 60er.), tighten grip (The sand due to fat hits will be hindering the down swing and curving the club head.), check your swing range for sepcific carry (like approaching) for a 10-, 20-, and 30- shot at most.
3. Fairway bunker shots: You have first to choose a loft enough club to make sure the ball can clear the front lip. Then choose a club one size larger than normal. Less foot work, an inch shorter of the grip and to enhance the control of swing. Swing shorter, compared to a normal full swing, which is also for a better control. And the rest is the same as a normal full swing. (to integrate 1.~4, see 11.)
4. Draws and fades: Using the change of stance and the allignment to curve the trajectories.
5. Uphill shots: Causing shorter and higher carry, then use the club one or two size larger, depending on the steep degrees. You will want your swing axle always to be vertical to the ground.
6. Downhill shots: Causing longer and flatter carry, then use the club one or two size smaller, depending on the incline degrees. You will want your swing axle always to be vertical to the ground as possible.
7. Higher position: Also known as the downhill shots in front of your face, not along the target line, which will make the ball go more right to a normal shot. Then you should aim a bit left to the target as possible.
8. Lower postion: Also known as the uphill shots in front of your face, not along the target line, which will make the ball go more left to a normal shot. Then you should aim a bit right to the target.
9. 5+7 = 5+7; 5+8 = 5+8
10. 6+8 = 6+8; 6+7 = 6+7
11. 范范又交
Anyway, no matter how weird the ball lies, remember: DON'T EVER FOREGO OR DOUBT YOUR BASIC KNOWLEDGE OF FULL SWING, ON WHICH ALL THE SHOT-MAKINGS ARE ESTABLISHED!
