Nothing is impossible, and for so many times they happen and change so swiftly that I still stay staggering, not sober enough to be able to stand fixed from my unconsciousness; I have to admit that. More strikingly to realize, I have also to accept this drives of dramatically plotted scenes one after another, unwillingly and  unintended, for there's too little chance for me to opt and too narrow a latitude to spin within, that is, the stubborn Landlord was tussling to lease his barren land to a gaunt, bone-skinny share-cropper by, as always, performing his same old pathetique rhetorical diplomacy, never to let go the renegade once in his mind. The poor tenant farmer cherishes the produce and pot plants he's painstakingly been growing and trimming and nodded yes as scud missiles, but quite involuntarily. I wager you would buy my words after skimming  the smallholder's defense below:

1. The Landlord was totally in panic, knowing that this time the tenant is about to take a long trip, never looking back again, and he was so determined. Scrooge, as a millionaire supposedly being one of the blue blood, pleaded the farmer for a temporary stay, without being a so-called permanent associate with the noble class. The tenant thus pitied him on the basis of acquaintance for over 15 years.

2. The tiny piece of land is and will be, according to the Landlord, under further cultivation with newly introduced modern agricultural tackles. It would be expected a certain number of annual turnovers by all means. It does need an adept skilled farmer at dealing with some rare species.

3. A large portion of crops the farmer is now engaging in are still premature. And he is sure they would not accept other farmers and would be deserted as weeds, hovering aimlessly  on roads, at homes, and aloft. With the prevalence of GM foods and other malign effects on plantation, the farmer is afraid these remainder might be disfigured under malnutrition somewhere else. So he would give the Landlord this time the last benign neglect.

4. Citing the Round Table, Square Tables, as well as the Shifting Castle and so on, the tenant would like to stay in the proximity of this piece of farmland more often to hang out with his fellow brethren for a while. After all, one more day to stay together is one more time to be enjoying with one another.

5. The Landlord promises to pay some subsidy to the bare-handed so that his little cub could get more crust of bread at the dinning table.

This is a breaking news. And for the poor farmer, this is his breaking promise. Anyway, this is all about what he ought to do and which alternatives his Father has to offer. As for him, all he could only conceive of is be an eligible worker to His content.
