As the last assignment, the following composition is according to a 3-framed comic for JCEE, a 'monkey story':

1. Royne was in the kitchen, ready to set up for a romantic dinner later when her husband, Chris, rushed home after work. As a newly-wed housewife, she seldom had some fantastic ideas about anything for a perfect cuisine, not to mention conjuring up a decent tasty cuisine minceur with choicy cut veal and seasonal vegetables. Her husband didn't expect too much about her cooking talent anyway.

2. As the hot moment of such a red-letter day as today, it seemed a must that Royne do something for Chris whether they could goo-goo at each other with a plate of roast beef in front of them or happily watch their favorite soap opera together with a big bucket of popcorn and dozens of microwaved drumsticks. And what would be happening right after was really the last thing she could ever have imagined. A giant King Kong jumped out suddenly, yelling at Royne as if she was the very main course about to be served today! She was simply too scared to utter a word.

3. Instead of devouring her greedily, the gorilla removed his ‘head’, a big mask actually. It was Chris in a monkey costume, with a bunch of roses in his hand, saying, ‘Happy New Year!’ He also wanted to give his darling a huge surprise on such a special holiday rather than to go out watching some stupid firework shows. For Royne, Chris’ surprise was the most terrific fireworks ever, a really big bang in her mind, full of his love. (250 words)
